Star Tribune, Sunlight, Running

I stumbled upon the obituaries in the Star Tribune today. It happened after I read the whole Tom Petty fraud article, as well as the adopted Russian boy in Hasting and the gun incident at school. I got a very weird feeling when just looking at the names in the obituaries, a soothing, calm feeling. I know, a little weird. Somewhat, a little pessimistic.
I have started to really appreciate names that a lot of us would find very "outdated" or "old person name", but for some reason, I find those name to be full of life, vitality and spunk. My favorite name is Bernadette. I love the sound and tone that this name brings and maybe one day in the distant future, I can name my daughter Bernadette.
Another piece of news that I found in the newspaper was the awkward weather that happened on the east coast or maybe it's still going on. 90 degrees? Really? That's crazy. This weather is only confirming my 2012 prediction along with the awkward earthquakes we have been having. Just kidding, just kidding. I am enjoying the sun a lot and Paul Douglas says that it will be a nice mid 60's, sunny weekend. I am in luck, I had taken off this whole weekend from work, in hopes that Andrew and I could go out for a fancy dinner on Saturday. I am very enthusiastic for my weekend, hopefully I can get a lot of work done and maybe go out for a jog.
But, the sleeping in this weekend will not happen because I have to get up early both Saturday and Sunday. Renee has some ACTs that she needs to go take at Normandale College tomorrow at 8 a.m. It will be a reunion between Normandale and I, maybe I can use their gym to workout. I guess technically I am still a student, but actually maybe not, but I do still have an email address from Normandale for life.
Besides, my weekend plans and my weird discoveries and feelings, I started a Minnesota Aids Walk team with Jamie. Our team is call, " Everyone makes a difference". I want to participate not in only in the walk, but also the run. I have a couple people that want to join the run with me, so I am very excited. It is 4 miles and I think I can actually do. But til then, I just need to train train train, along with work work work, and let's not forget, school school school.
It has been kind of rough this past week, I miss my mom a lot. She is in Cambodia this month and home, let just say, is very rough.
I thought I would end my blog with a sad note because let's face everyone else leaves it on a happy note.
