Rain, Snow and Sleet? Really Minnesota? Come on!

Currently my location is Starbucks in Lakeville, next to Rainbow. I am on break right now and I am off in like two hours. Today's weather is very unique, in the sense that it is Winter, Spring and a little of Fall as well. Wonderful, Minnesota. I thank you again for giving me a chance to experience this bliss. It is actually really funny. I woke up at 4:30 am and my mom came out and warned me about the scary ice. This was our conversation this morning.

Me: Yes, Mom?

Mom: Outside, ice so big, you start car now!

Me: Okay, Mom.

Mom: So slippery like fish. Go NOW!!!

I got to work and as I stepped outside my car, I went "bloop" right into the parking lot and my phone slid inches away from me. Wonderful start to the morning. Just wonderful. I am currently listening to Passion Pit, Sleepyhead. I am sleepyhead. I am sleepyhead. I should really do a new SODUKU because I have done one since the first one I accomplished. Should I follow my dreams? In the words of a good friend, "Follow your dream, you can do it!"

Mid Winter Blues and Jeers

The past couple weeks has been full of working and working with tiny bots of free time for myself and others who I care with passion. It's that part of the season when the sun sets earlier in the evening and the weather is always cloudy. I think I might have seasonal depression and it is really hard to get yourself to snapped out of it. Also, this month, my roommate Catey is not in the USA and is traveling around Europe. It is lonely in my apartment and the way I have been this year. My interaction with the St. Olaf community has been limited. Am I sad? Yes, a little. I miss the interactions with my friends on campus. But is this the better choice? I believe so because I have to travel back and forth between Lakeville and Northfield because of my job and honestly because of my family. I guess I am a hermit crab and I do like to seclude myself from the public. I just got off work from Starbucks. I worked at the Rosemount location which is on Highway 3. It was a long tedious drive. I got back to my apartment at 10 tonight. I decided that I should because I have n't in a while. I don't know why I blog. It's for my own sake to get my thoughts out of my head because honestly I do not think anyone is reading this, but this is okay with me. Til then, more thoughts to come...
